Soba making class is designed for everyone including children and those with no cooking experience. The chef will support you until the end. The purpose is not just to make and eat. We will provide a meaningful time for you to learn about the history of soba!
About this experience
Before starting your soba making experience, the chef will greet you and tell you about the characteristics, history, and trivia of soba. Next, we move on to making the soba dough, which is the most important step in soba making. Add water little by little to keep the dough from becoming sticky. The powder will gradually form into lumps, so when each part is about the size of an earlobe, combine them into one.
Once you have finished making the dough, use a rolling pin to roll it out thinly. If you stretch it while applying your weight, it will spread smoothly and thinly.
Fold the rolled out dough in a zigzag manner to match the width of the knife. Then, carefully cut the pieces using a knife and a cutting board. The goal is to finish cutting within 10 minutes.
Finally, boil the soba in boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes, then rinse with water. Then, delicious soba will be completed and we will taste it.
