Our entire fleet of vehicles is equipped with the latest data recording technology. Outdoor Planners regularly analyze video trip data with our Safety Team to discover any new and innovative ways to improve the safety of Outech’s service.
GEOTAB – The Next Generation of Telematics Systems
GEOTAB’s advanced system of 3G communication modules allows us to monitor our entire fleet in real time. We continually monitor the location and speeds of each vehicle, later utilizing this collected data to enhance the individual skills of our Outdoor Planners.
As part of our safety protocols, GEOTAB notifies Outech anytime our vehicles experience any unforeseen movement. Outech regularly analyzes this data to improve our service and increase customer safety.
Adoption of New Driving Technology
We are committed to providing you with a safe and comfortable ride. Our vehicles are equipped with the latest in automotive safety technologies including collision avoidance systems, rear-vehicle monitoring systems, and lane departure warning systems.
Online Learning & Development
To improve our planners' safety awareness and ensure their knowledge stays current, we have implemented the "Good Learning!" e-learning system. By taking these courses every month, our entire team continuously reinforces safe driving practices and is empowered to deliver a secure and reliable service.
Mental Health Management
Traffic accidents happen unexpectedly to even the most seasoned professionals. Recent statistics on vehicular accidents demonstrate that 90% of accidents are due to human error. When an accident takes place, Outech contracts with mental health professionals to provide counseling to the affected driver. Mental health management allows Outech to guarantee a high standard of customer safety. We continuously assess our Outdoor Planners’ health, lifestyle and working conditions/schedule to ensure that we maintain a productive and positive work environment.
Regular Performance Reviews
We use an AI-powered system called "Mikiwame" to analyze and understand the personality traits of each planner. Based on these insights, we hold regular meetings with their supervisors to address their individual growth and challenges. Our goal is to create a work environment where every employee is mentally and physically well, and feels a sense of purpose in their work.
