Outdoor Planner® Training
At Outech, we believe that a detailed and comprehensive training program results in the highest quality customer service. To ensure that our service meets the highest standards, we provide training on proper business manners and etiquette, general communication skills in English, and proper safety standards for the road.
Business Etiquette Training
Training in business etiquette is conducted through role-playing exercises, led by a former flight attendant with extensive experience in the hospitality Industry.
English Language Training
Outech’s language curriculum employs professional English-speaking instructors to train all of our chauffeurs in advanced conversational English. Not only does this rigorous curriculum teach our Outdoor Planners how to communicate clearly with our clients, it also teaches aspects of cultural etiquette and how to approach issues of diversity. This comprehensive training provides our Outdoor Planners with the tools to handle any and all situations.
Safe Driving Training
In order to guarantee customer safety, Outech expects our Outdoor Planners to meet a high standard of driving proficiency. Outech drivers are required to regularly recertify their driving skills in on-site driving courses at Twin Ring Motegi Racing Circuit, while receiving routine assessments of their driving technique from external safety firms. Lectures on sleep management are also provided to our chauffeurs.
Hospitality training for new Outdoor Planners begins with a visit to popular tourist destinations in Tokyo and the surrounding areas, accompanied by a seasoned Outdoor Planner who introduces them to our operating zone. To expand their knowledge of what clients may be interested in, Outdoor Planners are not only instructed to learn about cultural and historic sites, but also to follow “influencers” on social media in order to keep an eye on the next hotspots in Tokyo. Because of their expansive knowledge of Tokyo and the surrounding areas, our Outdoor Planners are aware of everything under the sun, from where the nearest toilet is to where that cat café is that’s trending on Instagram.
