  1. Pick-up at Your Hotel

  2. Mt. Fuji 5th Station

    • 30 minutes
    • OK

Mount Fuji 5th Station is the entrance to climbing Mount Fuji. Many people climb Mount Fuji from here as a starting point. (It takes 2hours from Tokyo to Mt.Fuji 5th station and travelers usually stay at 5th station for 30mins)

  3. Lake Kawaguchi

    • 30 minutes
    • OK

You can enjoy a beautiful view of Mount Fuji over Lake Kawaguchi. There are two different views of Mount Fuji. One is the mountain itself and the other is inverted in its reflection on the water. (It takes 30mins from Mt.Fuji 5th station to Lake Kawaguchi and travelers usually stay at Lake Kawaguchi for 30mins)

  4. Owakudani

    • 40 minutes
    • OK

Owakudani is the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone some 3000 years ago. Today, much of the area is an active volcanic zone where sulfurous fumes and hot springs can be experienced. It also has good views of Mount Fuji on clear days. Eggs cooked in Owakudani's hot spring pools with their shells blackened by the sulfur are on sale at shops in the area, and eating one is said to prolong one's life by seven years. (It takes 1hour from Lake Kawaguchi to Hakone and travelers usually stay at Owaku-dani Valley for 40mins)

  5. Hakone Ropeway

    • 30 minutes
    • OK

The cable car takes you to Owakudani known as Great Boiling Valley. You can enjoy a beautiful scenery from the cable car.

  6. Hakone Shrine / Kuzuryu Shrine Singu

    • 30 minutes
    • OK

Hakone shrine was built in 757. Many military commanders prayed at this shrine devotedly, which brought it fame throughout the country. It has a big gate. It provides an excellent view as it looks like floating on the lake ashi.

  7. Lake Ashinoko

    • 40 minutes
    • OK

You can take a sightseeing ship which navigates Lake Ashi. It looks like a pirate ship! On a clear day, a breathtaking view of Mt.Fuji and the gate of Hakone shrine can be enjoyed from the ship. (Travelers usually stay at Lake Ashinoko for 40mins and it takes 2hours from Hakone to Tokyo)

    Very impressed

I’m very impressed by Outech! My family and I used them for airport pickup and a private tour to Hakone. Both trips were great. Their chauffeurs are lovely and accommodating. Our trip to Hakone with Riley was perfect - she was knowledgeable and helped plan the day. I highly recommend using Outech.

A tour to remember and cherish

We enjoyed our tour. The views are amazing and memorable. A little disappointed because Mt. Fuji is partly covered with clouds at that time thus we did not proceed to station 5.
But overall the tour is very good. After exploring Lake Kawaguchi, we savored a wonderful Japanese lunch at a local restaurant. We also tried the blackened egg cooked in Owakudani's hot spiring pool. It's fascinating to learn that eating the black eggs is said to prolong one's life by seven years. We also enjoyed hiking up to Hakone Shrine, especially seeing the gigantic 800-year-old trees. We also savour the calmness and breathtaking view in Lake Ashinoko. We owe all these wonderful experiences to our fantastic tour guide, Mr. Babu (Maharjan Sanu Babu).
